Mosaic Miami Condemns Miami Beach Shooting and Calls for Unity

Mosaic Miami is outraged by the recent shooting in Miami Beach, where police say a local man fired 17 shots into a car carrying two Israeli tourists he believed were Palestinian, injuring both. These acts of violence, spurred by hateful misconceptions and prejudice, underscore the urgent need to reject bigotry in all its forms. No one should live in fear because of their real or perceived heritage, religion, or identity. We call on our community to come together, de-escalate tensions, and foster respect and understanding. Hate cannot be allowed to take root here—or anywhere—and we remain committed to advocating for the safety and dignity of all.
