Honoring the Legacy of Robert Josefsberg

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Robert “Bob” Josefsberg, a brilliant attorney, principled advocate, and compassionate voice for justice whose impact shaped Miami’s civic and legal landscape for more than six decades.

A longtime partner at Podhurst Orseck, Bob was known not only for his legal mastery but for his deep compassion and humility. He fought for fairness, stood up for the underdog, mentored rising leaders, and led with quiet strength.

In recognition of his extraordinary service, Bob was honored with Mosaic Miami’s Silver Medallion Humanitarian Award, our community’s highest civic distinction. He was, in every sense, a mensch in all the right ways: wise, generous, deeply decent, and wholly committed to making the world better for others.
