Miami Dade College’s first woman President, and the first woman president to lead one of the nation’s largest educational institutions, Madeline Pumariega is raising the bar on education not only for recent high school graduates attending MDC, but for all those seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Madeline’s passion is ensuring that students have a pathway toward upward economic mobility through educational opportunities by fueling the talent needs of a global economy and securing the future of the College. By fostering and creating accessible programs through community partnerships and collaborations, she’s helping break financial and language barriers, empowering individuals from all backgrounds to go after their dreams.
