About Our Honoree
Alina T. Hudak is a trailblazing public servant with more than three decades of leadership experience across local government and community institutions. As President & CEO of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee, she is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of one of the world’s most significant global events—overseeing infrastructure, public-private partnerships, and community engagement to ensure Miami shines on an international stage.
Previously, Hudak made history as the first woman to serve as City Manager of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County. Throughout her career, she has managed complex organizations, multibillion-dollar budgets, and large-scale initiatives that strengthened public safety, expanded cultural and civic infrastructure, and enhanced community resilience. Widely respected for her steady leadership during times of crisis and transformation, Hudak continues to shape Miami’s future through vision, innovation, and service.
