A Special Thank You from Executive Director Matt Anderson

Dear Friends:

We are filled with gratitude. This year, Give Miami Day once again showed the very best of who we are as a community. Miami raised $43.8 million from more than 60,000 donors, supporting 1,405 nonprofits across our county. Last year’s record-breaking total of $39.5 million was extraordinary, and this year our city shattered that record again.

As Miami Heat great Udonis Haslem says, “This city rides for each other.” Yesterday proved that again.

Thanks to your generosity, Mosaic Miami had a true breakout year. We are proud to share that we raised $120,195 from 195 donors, surpassing our goal and setting a new chapter for our mission. When we think back to the years when our biggest Give Miami Day total was just under $37,000, this milestone reflects something deeper than dollars. It reflects trust, belief, and a shared commitment to the Miami we are building together.

We also extend heartfelt gratitude to Rebecca Fishman Lipsey and The Miami Foundation team. Their vision, leadership, and record-setting work make Give Miami Day one of the most inspiring traditions in our city.

None of this happens alone. Our board, staff, and partners carry this mission with tremendous heart. Their dedication and steady presence help make possible every step forward we take.

Because of you, Mosaic Miami can continue creating spaces where people connect, listen, grow, and lead with purpose. Your support strengthens all of our programs, from MetroTown and Emerging Leaders to our Silver Medallion Humanitarian Awards and community dialogues.

Thank you for showing up for community, connection, and lasting impact.

We are honored to do this work with you.

With gratitude,

Matt Anderson and the Mosaic Miami Team

Celebrating MetroTown Delegates: Jullian Farrington

Celebrating our MetroTown delegates: We are so proud to highlight one of our incredible MetroTown 2025 Delegates, Jullian Farrington, who was selected out of 500+ applicants to join The Allstate Foundation National Youth Service Summit!

As the Founder & CEO of Jullian’s Gateway, he represented his nonprofit with passion, connected with leaders from across the nation, and walked away with new skills and ideas to fuel the amazing work they’re doing in our community. We are so proud of the lasting impact MetroTown has on our delegates!

Through bridging connections, standing up for what’s right, and celebrating diversity, our students leave MetroTown equipped to create change far beyond camp.

Mosaic Miami Hosts Emerging Leaders Dinner at Belen Jesuit with Tony Argiz

In September, Mosaic Miami brought its Emerging Leaders Dinner Series on the road to Belen Jesuit Preparatory School for a powerful intergenerational night of dialogue and connection.

Our guest of honor, Tony Argiz, Mosaic Miami Silver Medallion recipient, shared invaluable wisdom and perspective with students, alumni, and community leaders.

We were also honored to be joined by Belen President Father Willie Garcia-Tuñón (2025 Silver Medallion recipient), along with members of his leadership team, school board, alumni, and current students — all contributing to an inspiring evening of mentorship and meaningful conversation.

We’re grateful for partnerships like these that bring our community together and help shape Miami’s next generation of changemakers.
