Simply put, taboo topics are things we’re not supposed to talk about. But avoiding challenging conversations is contributing to the isolation and polarization many of us feel. Building empathy for others, especially those who are different from us, is key to fostering deeper, more meaningful connections. That’s why We Met in Miami is partnering with Mosaic Miami — a local nonprofit with nearly 90 years of practice facilitating dialogue across lines of difference — for a night of connection, civility and courage. Not to mention competitive and uproarious fun!
